چکیده
The spray-dried porcine plasma (SDPP) is an abattoir by-product used in animal nutrition with beneficial effects reported livestock and commercial aquatic species. Previous results have found that the dietary inclusion of SDPP gilthead sea bream ( Sparus aurata ) increased density intestinal goblet cells, it did not result significant changes autochthonous microbiota. However, there no comprehensive data on mechanisms could take place intestine fed SDPP-supplemented diet. For this reason, study aimed to unveil biological modulated response administration gut. To achieve goal, we made a microarrays-based transcriptomic approach gut samples from diet for 95 days. As control diet, protein-rich feed (51% crude protein, 17% fat, 20.6 MJ/kg gross energy) which was supplemented 3% at expense LT70 fishmeal. microarray analyses showed total 803 (468 up- 335 down-regulated) differential expressed genes (DEGs). functional network analysis revealed induced sustained 120 processes, grouped 12-clusters. Among them, metabolic-related process (cellular catabolic process, organic substance protein metabolism process), transport, leukocyte mediated immunity interacted leading interactome network. This evidence confirms previous enhancement mucosal health status provides further understanding mode action ingredient aquafeeds.

Understanding the control of piscine fatty acid metabolism is important for determining the nutritional requirements of fish, and hence for the production of optimal aquaculture diets. The regulation and expression of carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1 (CPT1; EC No 2.3.1.21) are critical processes in the control fatty acid metabolism, and here we report a cDNA from gilthead sea bream (Sparus aura...
متن کاملMetabolic Effects of Insulin and IGFs on Gilthead Sea Bream (Sparus aurata) Muscle Cells
Primary cultures of gilthead sea bream myocytes were performed in order to examine the relative metabolic function of insulin compared with IGF-I and IGF-II (insulin-like growth factors, IGFs) at different stages in the cell culture. In these cells, the in vitro effects of insulin and IGFs on 2-deoxyglucose (2-DG) and l-alanine uptake were studied in both myocytes (day 4) and small myotubes (da...
متن کاملNormal and histopathological organization of the opercular bone and vertebrae in gilthead sea bream Sparus aurata
This study provides a comprehensive description of the tissue organization of nondeformed and deformed opercula and vertebrae from gilthead sea bream Sparus aurata juveniles by means of histological, histochemical and immunohistochemical approaches. Two types of opercular anomalies are described: the folding of the opercle and subopercle into the gill chamber, starting at the upper corner of th...
متن کاملStress and mu opioid receptor in the management of gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata) aquaculture
The growing consumption of aquaculture products requires always new techniques to increase the production yield. Generally, the intensification of aquaculture practices is associated with a stress level rise of bred fishes. Sensitivity to stress, leading to disease, reduced growth and mortality, is higher in larvae than in adult fish. The stress induced effects can be reduced acting on opioid r...

In teleost fish, as in other vertebrates, calcium is of key importance for numerous physiological processes. The skeleton of vertebrates consists mainly of calcium phosphate and calcium carbonate. It serves an important role as it determines body shape, protective aspects (scales, bone plates) and as a buffer internal reservoir for calcium and phosphorus. In teleosts, ~99% of the whole-body cal...
